The kids have started up school, swim team has ended and this year, scouts appears to be the thing of interest. Taylor is in the 4th grade and Linda is now at her school. She joined Girl Scouts and is part of a den of 18 girls. She's doing very well in class and has had almost no drama this year.
Andrew joined Cub Scouts and somehow I am his Den Leader. There are 5 boys in his den and we do fun things each week. It's a lot of work, but I always wanted to be in scouts as a kid, so I'm living vicariously through him! Andrew is in 1st grade and while we had a rough start, he's doing very well now and things are going great.
In July we went on a family reunion in Half Moon bay. The whole wood Family and Nicky's parents joined us for a weekend in a beach house. It was great fun and I hope it can be an annual tradition
Now for the pics
"I don't like kids" started out as a joke between me and my 3 year old. I was teaching her to say "I don't like kids" in a grouchy old-man voice, hoping that she would go to her pre-school and start repeating it. So far, we haven't gotten a call asking for a parent-teacher meeting...

Baby Hannah is BORN!
Well, after a long, hiatus, Nicky's womb issued forth and out came a 8lb 7oz baby girl, hereafter to be referred to as Hannah Renee Wilczewski! I will be updating this post (or making an additional post) to add pictures, but for now we wanted to document the story of the birth. First, a few other things have happened since our last update (April!!!). The kids finished Kindergarten and Third grade, I went on my annual Reunion trip and had a great time with my gaming friends, and Swim team started up again.
Now, onto the birth. Nicky went into labor around 9:40pm on June 23rd. About 2am on the 24th, we went to the hospital. Taylor had expressed interest in coming with us to witness Hannah's birth, so we woke her up in the middle of the night, and hopped into the car. When we got to the hospital, Nicky spent about 4 hours having good solid contractions, before her baby-tube fell asleep. After a couple of hours, the doctors gave her some pitocin, and she was back on the birthing track. Around 1pm, she opted for an Epidural and was very glad she did. The rest of the laboring seemed much more pleasant for her (At least that's how it seemed from the sidelines) and at 4:45, Hannah was PUSH PUSH PUSHed into our lives. She immediately seemed like a calm baby, and before the night was over, she was nursing happily.
I was able to catch Taylor's reaction on video, and I'll add it to the pictures when I post those. Leading up to the birth, she seemed very excited to have a little sister, but when Hannah was born, she had an unexpected reaction. She said she immediately missed AJ and was sad that he couldn't be there with us at this intense family time. It's not often that Taylor misses AJ, so it was especially sweet to see. Andrew came along shortly later to meet his new baby sister, and Taylor was ecstatic to see him. Now, I'll turn it over to Taylor, and I promise to add some pictures soon.
This is Taylor! And Boy, do I have a story for you. I finally got to meet my sister, Hannah and see the live birth, I think it was a little gross but I got to see Hannah's face for the first time ever, so that was exciting. Here's my story,
I was woken up by dad carrying me to the car. I soon realized that mom was going to have the baby so my excitement woke me up. We were soon at the Hospital, it took a really long time for mom to be ready to have the baby, but when she was, I got my camera out fast and got a picture of my new sister. I was very upset because whenever I'm around a little kid or a baby, I like my brother, Aj more than usual. When he finally got to the Hospital, I ran over to him and almost knocked him down! Aj immediately ran over to see Hannah, which gave me not much time to hug him. Nobody feels like I feel when it comes to babies, so that wasn't a big surprise. Anyways, that is the end of my story so bye till next time!

Hawaii DolphinQuest Video, a quick Joke, and Taylor's update
Not a lot of new stuff to talk about since the Hawaii Update was so recent, but I do have a video, and a cute story.
We were driving to Costco and I was explaining to the kids about how certain parts of your body feel different (Lungs are like sponges and kinda heavy, gall bladders are light, etc) and AJ asked "Dad, how much does a soul weigh?" - I wasn't ready for that!

And Taylor is back to write her update!
Hi this is Taylor! I have a LOT to talk about!
So, here is the story. When I woke up at 5:42 A.M, Mom and Dad said, "It is time to get on your clothes so lets get going!'' After that Aj and I raced upstairs to get on our clothes. Then we set off to the Airport! After the bag check, we got Mexican food and waited for our flight. Then they called our number! As we found our seats, I started to do the homework that I was going to miss. Easy.
After that, I grabbed my 3DS and played Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I saw there was a new animal in Alaska (my town) and his name is Rudy, but get this: he put his new home in FRONT of MY house! I can not believe it! He dared to put his house in front of mine! Seriously!? I am the mayor. After I got over that I went to meet him. He turns out to be a cat. Yay, I love cats!
After doing a lot of work, the plane started to land. It turns out that we landed in an outdoor Airport! Cool! After TONS of pictures, we went to get our rental car, but Pops, our grandpa, had to walk to get it. Once he picked up the car, we hopped in. Then we went to our condo. Aj and I picked a couch to sleep on in the night. I chose the big one and Aj got the little one. After putting on sunscreen and bathing suits, we went to go to the beach. We got in the water but there is so much salt and it got in our eyes. Ow! We saw some fish the color of sand and there was a whole school of them! They were right at the shoreline so we did not need to get in the water to see them! We also found some friends too!
The next day we ate at a delicious restaurant for breakfast. Then we bought some snorkels and toys from Target! I decided I would go snorkling in the water. I did not see much but some magma on the ocean floor. When I got deeper, I found a fish swimming by some sponge coral! Cool! Then as I headed back I saw another one of the same fish in front of me! Whoa! as I swam back to shore it was getting late and we ate at the Canoe House for dinner. After that we went to the shoreline again and saw a giant turtle in the sand! Also we were standing on rocks and saw a shark fin bobbling up and down in the water. This was scary!
The next day we swam with dolphins and got to feed them fish and also they were put in aquariums with other fish too! I even saw some of the grey fish in the sand just like the ones I saw at the beach! The next day we went to crescent beach and got to snorkel more! Also, we struck treasure at crescent beach! We swam to the edge of the beach and there was about 10 different species of fish there! Some of them were yellow Tangs! we saw some bright fish swimming by rocks we were standing on! Meme, my grandma, described it as an ''Under water aquarium '' There were many other days and adventures but this is all for today!
Oh, by the way, at the hotel near the coast, there was a koi pond! I could even feed the koi! I was scared of a yellow and black one that I named hornet. They were so neat, I got to stick my finger in the water and they would gently nibble on me! It tickled but I wouldn't let Hornet suck on my finger, he seemed hungry.
Bye, signing off, Taylor!

A Trip to Hawaii and a little bit of Easter
Looks like I missed my April 1 posting goal, we were traveling, and by the time I got everything going, it was already past Easter. So this update is going to be a quick one, with lots of pictures.
For the April 15th update, I'll see if I have any usable Hawaii footage as well as a funny story from AJ about what a soul feels like.
Enjoy!

Werewolves, pool and tennis party, and a trip to the river
We've had an exciting couple of weeks. First, the family all came to visit and we played around the pool (Can you believe it was warm enough in late Feb? Yikes!) and then we went out to the tennis courts and played some triples tennis. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Then we met up with Uncle David and went down to the river for some fun. At first Taylor was reluctant to go, didn't want to put down the Nintendo DS. But when it was time to leave, Taylor asked to stay, and Uncle David was nice enough to stay with her. They didn't come home until after 8pm, so Taylor must have really had a good time. I think she has a new favorite uncle.
Also, the kids have really started to love One Night Ultimate Werewolf, so we recorded a few games of the 4 of us playing. Taylor is getting very tricky!
